As a Christian, I’ve learned early on that sickness doesn’t come from God, but from the enemy. He allows it to test and transform us.
Believers know that God hears their cry and if struck by sickness, they could either be healed or not. Healing means a second chance in life, while not being healed means… death. But even if this happens, believers know that choosing faith to their last breath brings peace. And it ends all pain and suffering (Revelation 21:4).
So… how do you see this pandemic? This whole thing? It’s now out of (human) hand, right? Where do you even get your hope from?
May we all take this lockdown as a chance to reflect because let’s be honest, we don’t even do it in the Holy Week. Believer or not, let’s promise to be better versions of ourselves when this is all over. We don’t know how it’s going to end, but surely it will be over soon.
Let us be worthy of a miracle… of healing… and second chances.
